BEGINNERS 1A

Prerequisite:

No or very little previous formal adult study of Indonesian.

Content:

In each Beginners 1 unit you will learn basic phrases for interacting with people in Indonesia, such as greetings, self-introductions, numbers and negotiating prices, and asking about transport and places. You will also understand some social conventions and aspects of contemporary Indonesian society. The course includes a short introduction to Unit 2B for those wishing to move up a level, or you also have the choice to join Beginners 1B in Term 2.
