Language Classes
Providing access to Indonesian language classes at various levels for adult students. We offer face to face and online classes.
Education
Promoting and supporting the teaching and learning of Indonesian throughout Western Australia and across Australia.
Events
Hosting and coordinating Indonesian cultural and language events throughout Western Australia, both in the city and regional areas.
Cultural Activities
Offering and supporting a range of cultural activities that foster cross-cultural links among individuals, groups, and associations in Indonesia and Australia.
OUR HISTORY
Established with Purpose
BBIP was formally launched on 22 April 2008 at the Indonesian Consulate in Perth by Dr. Aloysius Madja, Indonesian Consul, and Mr. John Hyde MLA. Since then, we have been committed to enhancing the relationship between Australia and Indonesia at all levels of society.
OUR BOARD
Guiding BBIP with Passion and Expertise
The business of Balai Bahasa Indonesia Perth Inc is conducted by a voluntary Board comprised of community delegates including Indonesian language teachers, local community members interested in Indonesia and Indonesian language, and members of the Indonesian community in Perth. The Board’s role is to supervise and direct the work of BBIP in accordance with its Constitution.
