One way to keep in touch with what’s happening in Bali is through Bali Now!,  a magazine and podcast designed primarily for non-Indonesians.

This article explores the efforts of chef Dean Keddell of Ginger Moon Bali, in collaboration with other restaurants and charitable organisations in Bali to redirect food wastage to feed the poor and hungry.  It is well worth your time to read about this successful program.

Dean Keddell’s Bali Needs Our Help project is also the subject of an SBS podcast

BBIP does not endorse the views or opinions published on the Bali Now! or the SBS sites but there is plenty to enjoy and to learn in the articles and podcasts. Moya McLachlan
