The Balai Bahasa Indonesia Perth is a cultural not-for-profit organisation, promoting cultural understandings and connections between Australians and Indonesians through the provision of film, music, art and craft, dance and language performances and activities.

The business of the Balai Bahasa Indonesia Perth Inc. is conducted by a voluntary Board comprised of representatives from the Westralian Indonesian Language Teachers' Association (WILTA), Consulate of the Republic of Indonesia Perth, and community representatives. The Board's role is to supervise, and direct the work of the Balai Bahasa Indonesia Perth Incorporated in accordance with its Constitution.
